Peninsula Private Hospital, Training Organisation of the Year 2017

Peninsula Private Hospitals Staff Development Officer Sam Masters was thrilled at the news of the hospital winning the HealthCare Training Service ‘Training Organisation of the Year 2017’.

“We are passionate about providing the very best training for our staff across the medical and nursing sector of the business. It certainly is a testament to our staff also for participating and ensuring they are across all relevant and up to date requirements of their role" said Ms Masters.

For the past 12 months Ms Masters and Niki Hotmer, Director of Nursing have put training at the forefront of their goals.

“We have seen a turnaround in the staff over the last 6-12 months since the additional training has been provided, the feedback has been very positive and we look forward to continuing on this path and being the best we possibly can be with regards to providing up to date training for our staff" said Ms Hotmer.

Peninsula Private Hospital were assessed on; organisational investment in training; multidisciplinary approach; support for training; community collaboration and support for external health care agencies.
